Identity & access security · Dallas–Fort Worth

Most break-ins start at the login page.

We find the cracks in your business processes and seal them.

The problem

You can't close a door you don't know is open.

The problems are almost always the same three: a password reused from a site that got breached, an account nobody closed when someone left, and an admin login that reads email all day.

What's actually happening

Former staff still have logins. Passwords are shared in a spreadsheet. Two-factor is on for some people and not others, and nobody can tell you which.

How it feels

You don't know what you don't know. It seems like the kind of thing that needs an IT department, a budget and a project — so it stays on the list.

Why that's wrong

A ten-person business shouldn't need a security department to be safe. It needs somebody to look once, write it down, and fix the handful of things that matter.

What we do

Three engagements, each with an end.

Every one is fixed in scope and quoted as a flat fee after a free twenty-minute call. You'll know what you're getting and what it costs before anything starts.

01

The Access Review

We find out who can get into what.

Every account, every admin right, every former employee who still has a working login. Remote, about a week. We change nothing in your systems.

02

Access Cleanup

Then we fix what we found.

MFA rolled out without locking anyone out, admin accounts separated from daily ones, a password manager people will use, and a real leavers process.

03

Standing Access Check

Four times a year, we check what drifted.

New starters, quiet departures, MFA switched off during a bad week. A known date each quarter — not a promise of availability.

No retainers, no hourly meters, nothing open-ended. We take on a small number of clients at a time, so yours gets proper attention.

Who you'd be working with

EDITS is Yele Akanji.

Yele Akanji

Most owners suspect something is wrong and have no way to check. They aren't careless — they're busy, and nobody ever sat down and showed them what to look at.

Yele has spent ten-plus years in IT, watching the same handful of problems cause real damage to businesses that couldn't afford it. Not clever attacks — the boring ones. The fixes were never complicated. Nobody had just sat down and done them.

That is what EDITS is. One person, a small number of clients at a time, and a preference for telling you that you don't need us yet over selling you something you don't.

The plan

Three steps, and you can stop after any of them.

  1. Step 1

    We talk

Twenty minutes, free. What the business runs on, who works there, what has already gone wrong or nearly gone wrong.

  2. Step 2

    We scope it and quote

A written scope and a flat fee. If the honest answer is that you don't need us yet, you'll get that instead — it happens, and it costs you nothing.

  3. Step 3

    We do the work

On the agreed schedule, with a written findings report and a fix list you keep whether or not we do the fixing.

Start with the twenty-minute call.

It's free, and it's the step that tells us both whether there's anything here worth doing.

What success looks like

Boring, in the best way.

And if you do nothing?

Often, nothing. Plenty of businesses go years without anyone trying the handle.

The catch is that most owners find out they had a problem from someone else — a customer, a bank, an insurer, a member of staff who can't get in. At that point you're not choosing when to deal with it, and the week of work it would have taken becomes something much larger.

Looking is cheap. Finding out the hard way isn't.

Free, and staying that way

Tips and tricks, explained plainly.

No signup, no email capture, no gate. If you read all of it and never call us, that's a good outcome.

Offboarding: the control everyone skips The badge came back. The logins did not.
Multi-factor authentication: the four kinds, ranked A key and a combination — but the kinds are not equal.
Spotting a scam: pressure, shock, the verification call Thieves work on urgency. Slowing down is most of the defence.
Admin accounts are not daily accounts If your everyday login can delete the company, so can anyone who phishes you.
