The whole idea, in one line
Passwords are the keys to your IT house. Most people carry one key for every door, and then wonder how someone got in.
I have spent more than a decade in IT, specialising in identity and access management: the unglamorous business of making sure the right people can get into the right systems and nobody else can.
Most owners I talk to are not careless. They are busy, and nobody ever sat down and showed them what to look at. That is the whole job: look once, write it down, fix the handful of things that matter, and explain it until it makes sense.
